HI, I’M KRISTEN!

I’m a wife and a mama to four beautiful little humans, it's safe to say that I am obsessed with photography! I love every part of the creative process from the start to the finish with every little nuance in between. I adore natural light and my style lends itself to lifestyle (documentary) with a hint of classic portraiture. My vision is to produce real-life, raw and emotional images that tell a story; not just a story you can see but a story you can feel; capturing authenticity true to one's own personality, spirit and character, through the art of photography.  

My interest in photography started when I lost my sister. I was 23 years old, trying to recap all the moments we had shared. Visiting images of her and us often, it was clear to me, photos preserved what my forgetful mind misplaced. I received my first DSLR camera in 2009. It was the ignite I needed to pursue my deep desire to freeze time; capturing moments like those of my sister, that I cherish oh so much. I couldn’t put my camera down. I wanted to document everything from my children’s changing features, to where we lived, to the season of life we were in. I didn’t want to miss a thing!

From there, I started taking photos (outside of the home,) with friends and their children. It felt magical and brought me great joy and lead to my business; although my heart’s focus is still very much into the meaning behind it all.
